I knew it was going to be a good day when I saw the marbled tile and grand stripes in Jessica’s room at the Historic Hotel Bethlehem. (Well, really I knew it was going to be a good day when the beautifully effervescent bride greeted me. But the 1920s hotel decor was a bonus.)
The hotel was filled with indoor portrait spaces: a wide staircase, a windowed sun room, a mirrored wall.
After lots of portraits of the bride and her best girls, we headed to Riverview Country Club in Easton. During the ceremony, Jessica walked down a boardwalk-type aisle to a grand gazebo draped in white. There she and Michael promised to be each other’s always, surrounded by family and friends.
During the cocktail hour, we mistakenly violated golf cart policy while jetting off to take some photos. Worth it.
The glass walls of their reception space, which looked out onto a pond with a fountain and the expanse of the golf course, let in plenty of natural light. A few months ago, I took engagement photos for this sweet duo. They suggested a “dip” pose (and did it well, I must say), so we made sure to get a few of those — particularly when the sun went down and the sky exploded in color.
Michael & Jessica, you are a wonderful couple. Your day was special in every way, and it was an honor to be a part of it;
